Afzal Sayed Munna is a Doctoral Researcher (PhD in Education) at the University of Bath, and DProf at the University of Sunderland and currently working as a Digital Learning and Teaching Lead, Lecturer and Supervisor, Research Ethics Review Committee, at the University of Sunderland in London. Afzal also acted as an academic/programme Coordinator at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David London Campus. Afzal is also acting as a Programme & Module External Examiner at the University of Hertfordshire, Cardiff Metropolitan University and London Metropolitan University. He is also acting as a Mentor, at the University of Westminster and a Qualified Assessor, IQA, Lead IQA and EQA. Afzal also serves as an independent education oversight consultant and an entrepreneur by profession. Afzal holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTLS), Chartered Manager Status (CMgr), Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE), a Senior Fellow in the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), and a Member of the Society for Education and Training (SET), the British Educational Research Association (BERA) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Husam Alharahsheh is an experienced senior academic with an extensive experience of teaching, supervision and research within higher education context. His higher education qualification at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels were focused on the fields of business management and higher education management. He is an active contributor to the development of process of wide range of higher education courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of business, hospitality and education management. He has excellent experience in academic management and leadership within UK higher education institutions. He is also a visiting academic across various universities as well as other academic institutions based in the UK and abroad. His academic and professional experience is developed through working across a wide number of UK based higher education institutions within the public, private as well as not for profit sectors. He has developed links with external networks within the industry to maintain understanding of the key trends and challenges that can be proactively and reactively researched and implemented within curriculum. His contributions in UK and abroad are giving him the opportunity to have further global exposure and understanding of key trends within various sectors. His key research interest are mainly in employability enhancement, internationalization, Globalization, sustainability, Education and enhancement of curriculum at various levels within higher education. His research is communicated nationally and internationally in the form of academic papers and books/book chapters published through highly reputable international academic journals and publishers. He is also actively contributing to enhancement of research quality published through acting as an executive editor of the Global Academic Journal of Economics and Business, associate editor of East African Journal of Economics, Business and Management, and Cross Current International Journal of Economics, Management and Media Studies. Alessandro Ferrazza is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Manager at Sunderland University in London, specialising in Business Strategy, Strategic Leadership, and International Human Resource Management for postgraduate students. Graduating from West London University in 1986, Alessandro holds an L7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from Bromley College HE (2015) and an MBA with distinction (2017) under the tutelage of Dr Thorben Hanel-Muhs. A seasoned professional in the hospitality industry, Alessandro has held senior roles globally, including Food and Beverage Director and Front of House Director. Noteworthy positions include managing hospitality services for Union Bank of Switzerland in Switzerland and serving on the board of Directors for Princess Pallavicini in Rome. Transitioning to academia in 2019, Alessandro focuses on preparing diverse and motivated students. He has addressed industry challenges, from pay issues to professional pathways, through research and proposed solutions. Notably, in 2021, he co-authored a chapter on technology acceptance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Alessandro's achievements include winning the University's "Most Digitally Innovative Teacher" award in 2022 and embarking on a Ph.D. research project in 2022. The research centres on change management in employee motivation, particularly focusing on ethnic minorities in the UK's Contract Catering sector. In 2023, Alessandro co-authored two publications and presented preliminary research findings at the Educational Symposium in London and the Researchers Annual Conference in Sunderland.
Abraham Pius is an accomplished academic, external examiner, keynote speaker, mentor, and certified corporate trainer. Committed to enhancing higher education standard, as a champion of student engagement, promoting the role of university in the development of society. Currently, lectures on the undergraduate and master’s courses delivered at various campuses across Europe.
