The International Journal of Cloud Applications and Computing (IJCAC) is a peer reviewed publication that focuses on practical applications and the theoretical foundations of cloud computing. This is achieved through the presentation of the most up-to-date advances and new directions of research in the field from various scholarly, professional, and practitioner perspectives. Through an interdisciplinary look at cloud computing, including engineering and business aspects, IJCAC covers and encourages high-quality research exposition on topics such as virtualization technology, utility computing, SaaS, and grid computing, as well as Web services, SOA, Web 2.0, and services computing.

Editor(s)-in-Chief Biography

Dr. Shadi Aljawarneh is ACM Senior member and an associate professor, Software Engineering, at Jordan University of Science and Technology. He holds a BSc degree in Computer Science from Jordan Yarmouk University, a MSc degree in Information Technology from Western Sydney University and a PhD in Software Engineering from Northumbria University-England. Aljawarneh has presented at and been on the organizing committees for a number of international conferences and is a board member of the International Community for ACM, Jordan ACM Chapter, ACS, and others. A number of his papers have been selected as "Best Papers" in conferences and journals.
Sam Goundar has been teaching IT, IS, MIS and CS as an academic over the last 20 years at several universities in a number of countries at all levels.

As a researcher, apart from cloud computing and mobile cloud computing, he also researches in Educational Technology, MOOCs, Smart Cities, Artificial Intelligence, ICT in Climate Change, ICT Devices in the Classroom, Using Mobile Devices in Education, e-Government, ICT for Disaster Management, Deregulation and Control in International Education, Quality Assurance in International Education, and Technical/Vocational Education. He has published on all these topics. He was a Research Fellow with the United Nations University.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of ACS, a member of the IITP, New Zealand, Certification Administrator of ETA-I, USA and Past President of the South Pacific Computer Society. He also serves on the IEEE Technical Committee for Internet of Things, Cloud Communication and Networking, Big Data, Green ICT, Cyber security, Business Informatics and Systems, Learning Technology and Smart Cities. He is a member of the IEEE Technical Society and a panellist with the IEEE Spectrum for Emerging Technologies.
