TopEditor(s)-in-Chief BiographyKwong Bor Ng Kwong Bor Ng (Ph.D) is an associate professor at the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies of Queens College, CUNY, where he teaches courses about Metadata, XML, Database Construction, Web Programming and Multimedia Technologies. He has also been working as a consultant for research projects in machine learning and data fusion, including projects funded by the National Science Foundation and DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency). Dr. Ng has published more than 20 academic papers in highly prestigious refereed journals like Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology (JASIST) and Information Processing & Management (IP&M). His recent book publications include: Using XML (published by Neal-Schuman), Collaborative Technologies and Applications for Interactive Information Design (co-edited with Scott Rummler, published by IGI Global) and Digitization in the Real World (co-edited with Jason Kucsma, published by Metro). Colleen Cool Colleen Cool (Ph.D.) is an associate professor in the Graduate School of Library & Information Studies, Queens College, CUNY. Her research and teaching areas include Digital Libraries, Human-computer Interaction, Interactive Information Retrieval and Human Information Behavior. Dr. Cool's research has been funded by the Institute for Museum & Library Studies (IMLS) and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). She is co-editor with Kwong-Bor Ng of the forthcoming book, Recent Advances in the Design, Construction and Evaluation of Digital Librraies: Case Studies, to be published by IGI Global.
