Cases on Teaching Critical Thinking through Visual Representation Strategies On October 15, 2014, University of Southern Maine Professors Jeff Beaudry and Lenny Shedletsky hosted an online workshop/seminar on visual literacy for faculty throughout the University of Maine System. The series introduced faculty to visual literacy and concept mapping, encouraging collaborative work all winter as faculty develop classroom applications. Professor Beaudry and Professor Shedletsky are editors of the IGI Global publication Cases on Teaching Critical Thinking through Visual Representation Strategies, and several of their contributing authors also participated in the program. Participants will reconvene online April 6th to share insights.
