N M G Kumar

Dr. N.M.G. Kumar is currently working as a professor at the Dept. of EEE, School of Engineering, Mohan Babu University (Erstwhile Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College), Tirupati, AP, India, and obtaining his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University at SMVITS, Bangalore. Obtained M.Tech (PSOC) and Ph.D. at S.V.U. College of Engineering, S.V. University, Tirupati. He has 25 years of experience in teaching and research. He published 25 international journals (50 national and international conferences), four textbooks, 6 book chapters, and 6 patents. He is an IEEE member and a member of IAENG. His areas of interest are power system analysis, planning, security, state estimation, FACTS devices' application in transmission and distribution systems, power system reliability studies, real-time application of power systems, and non-linear controllers’ applications to power systems.
