Abstract

Arcie shares his insights into empowerment and resilience through self-directed learning. He is currently exploring the benefits and applications of project-based learning. He wishes to become proficient in using these methodologies and tools to create curricula for students of Silid Aralan, the non-governmental organization he founded in 2007 to help low-performing, underprivileged learners in the Philippines and Indonesia. Arcie advocates that the classroom is the world. We cannot contain learning in a box; learning is everywhere.
