Andreas Masouras is the Head of the Department of Communication & Creativity, Member of the Senate, and Associate Professor of Communication and Marketing at Neapolis University Pafos. He also serves as MBA Coordinator, including the specialization in Tourism. As a full-time faculty member, he plays a key role in academic governance, program development, and the strategic academic direction of the university. He holds a PhD with distinction from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of the Peloponnese. His dissertation, titled “Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness through the Lens of Institutional Analysis: The Case of Cyprus,” is archived in the National Archive of Doctoral Dissertations. He also holds an MPhil in Television Studies from the University of Brighton, an MSc in Globalisation, Media & Culture from the University of South Wales (formerly Glamorgan University), and a BA in Communication and Mass Media Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Internationally, Dr. Masouras maintains a dynamic academic presence. He is Visiting Faculty at the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi (IIM Ranchi), where he contributes to teaching and research in the fields of marketing and communication. He also serves as Visiting Researcher at the Centre for the Study of Media and Culture in Small Nations at the University of South Wales, at the Politecnico di Milano, and as a main researcher at the Centre of International & European Political Economy & Governance (CIEPEG). He has previously held Visiting Researcher positions at institutions such as Fordham University’s Donald McGannon Communication Research Center (USA) and various European universities, focusing on media systems, institutional dynamics, and entrepreneurship. He has also taught as Adjunct Faculty at Webster University Tashkent, engaging with an international student audience. Dr. Masouras is an active researcher and academic author. He publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals and presents at leading international conferences, including those organized by the American Marketing Association (AMA). His interdisciplinary research spans communication, marketing, and entrepreneurship. He is a member of the Hellenic Marketing Academy and maintains ongoing collaborations in both European and global academic networks.
Sofia D. Anastasiadou , is a Professor of Statistics and Research Methodology, Biostatistics Biomedical Research Methodology and at the School Health Sciences of the University of Western Macedonia (UOWM). She is the Dean of the Health Sciences of UOWM, Senate Member, and Member of post graduate studies committee. She is also a Member of the Senate and a MODIP Member of the same University. Her teaching focuses in the field of cognitive Research Methodology (Quantitative and Qualitative), Educational Research and Statistical Data Analysis, Big Data. She has written three books on Statistics and Research Methodology and has published over 300 articles in International and Greek Journals as well as in International and Greek Conferences.. She has organized and co-organized Greek and International Scientific Conferences. She is also a Member of a number of Scientific Committees of International Conferences and is an Associate Editor in a number of International Journals.
Anastasia Constantelou is Associate Professor of Innovation Management at the University of the Aegean, Department of Financial and Management Engineering. She holds a degree in Computer Science and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Master's degree in Technology and Innovation Management and a PhD in Science Policy Research Studies, both from the University of Sussex. Before her academic appointment, Dr. Constantelou was a consultant at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) where she worked on communications policy issues in Europe. During her academic career, she was Visiting Scholar in several European Universities and Institutes including TU Delft, Department of Technology Policy and Management; Copenhagen Business School, Department of Information Management; and Aalto University, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. Prof. Constantelou is Associate Editor of Electronic Markets (Springer Verlag). She has published widely in prestigious academic journals and has made numerous presentations at international conferences. Her current research interests include the management of scientific and technological knowledge and innovation at the regional level; public sector innovation; the design of support policies for innovation and entrepreneurship in the creative industries; and the development of dynamic capabilities in the public sector in the context of the Smart Specialisation Strategy.
Dr. Sotiris Apostolopoulos is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Development at the University of Neapolis (Paphos, Cyprus). He also acts as Coordinator of the Undergraduate Programs in Business Administration & Digital Business of the Department of Economics and Business for the same University. He holds a PhD degree from the School of Management of University of the Peloponnese and two Master’s degrees (MSc) in Healthcare Administration and in Finance as well. He specialises in rural entrepreneurship, European policies and the socio-economic development of the rural areas with emphasis on private and social health enterprises. His research interests focus on local development, European policies, private and social enterprises as well as on innovation. He has many years’ experience working in the management of private companies. He served as Head of Communication and Public Relations of the Marketing Department of the Rehabilitation & Recovery Center “Diaplasis” in Greece and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the largest regional private hospital “City Hospital” of the Peloponnese Region. His research articles have been published in major scientific journals by publishers such as Wiley, Emerald, MDPI, while he has participated in studies that were included and published as book chapters in edited volumes (IGI Global, Eburon, etc.). In parallel, he has taken part through research work in international and European conferences on Economics, Entrepreneurship and Innovation held in Greece, Cyprus, UK, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Montenegro. He has experience in submitting and implementing proposals related to European programmes. Recently, the World Health Organization included in its official database two research papers of Sotiris (co-author), concerning the rural health enterprises during the Covid-19 pandemic.
