Academic Librarian Sponsorship Opportunity Announced For 2014 Charleston ConferenceIGI Global is proud to announce the 2014 Academic Librarian Sponsorship Award, supporting librarians' attendance of the industry's most important events. In an ongoing effort to help librarians grow professionally and increase their understanding of the changing state of knowledge resources, IGI Global will award one librarian a $500 stipend for attendance of the 2014 Charleston Conference.

Held in historic Charleston, South Carolina, from November 5th-8th, this annual, informal gathering of librarians, publishers, and vendors of library materials discusses issues of importance to the research community. The theme of this year's conference is "The Importance of Being Earnest."

To apply for this sponsorship opportunity, librarians are asked to submit a 250-word essay describing why they should be awarded the stipend by Friday, October 17th. Further specifications can be found on our website at https://www.igi-global.com/forms/librarian-award/. Use the following link for more information on the Charleston Conference.

IGI Global is a diamond-level sponsor of the Charleston Conference, presenting this year at Table #49. Highly engaged with the events at the convention, IGI Global will feature presentations, participate in the vendor showcase, and announce the winner of the $500 Academic Librarian Sponsorship.
