Abdalla Gharib

Abdalla Hassan Gharib earned his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia. Currently, he serves as a lecturer and Quality Assurance Coordinator within the Faculty of Engineering at Zanzibar University, located in Zanzibar, Tanzania. In 2022, he was honored to be appointed as a council member of the Karume Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) by the Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Zanzibar, Tanzania. With numerous research articles to his name and supervision of eight Master's degree students by the end of 2023, Dr. Abdalla Gharib has emerged as a dedicated scholar in the realm of Mobile Communication Networks. His research specialization lies in communication protocols and information dissemination within Opportunistic Networks, addressing scenarios where traditional network infrastructures may be limited or absent. Beyond his core focus, he displays versatility and a wide array of interests, encompassing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Quality Assurance, Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity and Graphic Design.. Driven by a profound passion for innovation and technology, his ultimate goal is to assist organizations and communities in harnessing technology ethically for competitive advantage and sustainable societal progress.
