Abigail Winter

Abigail Winter is a results-driven writing specialist and wordsmith, collaborative mentor, and independent researcher, skilled in the analysis of words and data for user needs. She has extensive experience in research and curriculum development, across Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Research courses, as well as particular skills in presenting complex data simply for external course accreditation, annual reporting, and other needs. Dr Winter has expertise in evaluation methods in higher education, both from her own research and in various forms of student and corporate evaluation, at all levels from subject to whole-of-degree program accreditation, and institutional review. She is a confident researcher trainer, leader, and mentor, with over 20 years’ experience in quality assurance, and change and project management. While her PhD focused on what helps workers in higher education cope with large-scale organisational change, and she was part of the small team that created and developed the concept of academagogy (the scholarly leadership of learning), her more recent research has focussed upon professional identity, developing writing skills, and reflective practice.
