Adhila Rushdhee

Adhila Rushdhee works at the Department of Inclusive Education / Ministry of Education as a Senior Inclusive Education Analyst. She has 20 years of experience in the education sector and worked as a primary teacher, middle school teacher, qualified teacher, teacher educator, and education development officer coordinator. In 2010 – 2018 she worked in the field of teacher professional development at NIE and joined DoIE in 2018. She presented papers in the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th International Teachers’ Conference organised by the National Institute of Education and completed various short term training programmes related to teacher professional development. She has completed her thesis on ‘In-service teachers’ perceptions on implementing Universal Design for Learning, Co-Teaching Model and Inclusive Education in the Maldives’.
