Agli Zavros-Orr

Agli Zavros-Orr is an academic and educational consultant working in diversity and inclusive education. Their work is focused on social justice, anti-bias curriculum approaches and the ethic of care in education. Agli utilises ethnographic, auto-ethnographic, and critical-autoethnographic methodologies to explore topics that have an impact on young people’s lives (birth to 18). In recent times their work has focused specifically on intersex human rights (in curriculum content when teaching topics relating to sex, gender, and sexualities). They explore Intersex human rights with consideration of the LGBTQIA+ human rights. Agli is an academic at Federation University Australia, is the founder of Diversitywise Educational Services and serves on the Victorian Government Intersex Advisory Group (IEAG) and a number of other projects that support intersex human rights as an academic and community member. They are a board member and vise chair of the board for Intersex Human Rights Australia (IHRA).
