Alfredo Manuel Franco Pereira

Alfredo Pereira is a Full Professor in the Animal Science Department of the University of Évora; Graduated in Animal Science Engineering from the University of Évora, Master in Veterinary Medicine and Tropical Animal Science from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Lisbon and PhD in Agricultural Sciences - Animal Bioclimatology, from the University of Évora. Invited Professor at FZEA - University of São Paulo. Senior Researcher at MED (Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development - University of Évora) and LABE (Laboratory of Ethology and Animal Welfare of FZEA/USP). Acting mainly on the following subjects: adaptive physiology of ruminants, thermal stress, thermotolerance, and animal welfare.
