Amala Luncheon

Amala Luncheon is an Assistant Professor of Management at Eastern New Mexico University in the College of Business. She read for her B. Sc. in Management at the University of Guyana, her M.Sc. in Marketing at University of Leicester and her Ph.D. at Walden University. She studied Management with specialization in Leadership & Organizational Change, and believes in the power of collaborative effort. To this end, she co-authored a book that stemmed from her dissertation – Everyday Lessons In Emotional Intelligence. Her professional experience is in the field of business management, and she has worked in varying capacities across four different industries, across the Caribbean and in the USA. She has developed an appreciation for the soft skills that make organizations and social interactions seamless. She knows that both Management and Leadership can appear daunting but many of the principles can be taught, she thinks that if you make yourself a student of life, things will become simpler to you.
