Amanda Benedict-Chambers

Amanda Benedict-Chambers is a former elementary and middle school teacher and is currently an Associate Professor in the College of Education at Missouri State University. She also serves as the Director of the Elementary Education Graduate Program. Her research focuses on pre-service and in-service elementary teacher learning, teachers learning to engage in ambitious and equitable science teaching, and the roles of tools and practice-based teacher education in promoting teacher noticing and practice.
