Anargyros Spyridon Mavrakos

Anargyros S. Mavrakos , born on June 3, 1994, in Athens, has a strong interest and involvement in marine technology and science. He completed his education at the National Technical University of Athens, where he earned his Master of Science in Marine Technology and Science between 2019 and 2021, following his undergraduate degree in Naval and Ocean Architect and Marine and Arctic Engineering. His career in research began in 2019, focusing on hydrodynamic and coupled response analysis of floating wind turbines and hybrid offshore platforms, utilizing and expanding sophisticated software like HAQi, HAMVAB, and ORCA3D. Since April 2022, he has joined the Inlecom Group as a research engineer. In this role, he has been actively involved in the DT4GS and FOREMAST EU Projects, where his expertise continues to drive innovation and development in the field of marine engineering. He has academic contributions include several publications on the hydrodynamics of moonpool-type floaters, wave energy converters' efficiency, and the effects of moorings on floating Oscillating Water Column devices. These works, presented at international conferences and in prestigious journals. Residing in Athens, Anargyros S. Mavrakos is at the forefront of marine technology research, contributing to both the scientific community and the development of sustainable marine and offshore engineering solutions.
