Beniamino Murgante

Beniamino Murgante is Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Basilicata (Southern Italy). His main research interests are urban and regional planning with a focus on the use of spatial information for developing decision support systems based on multi-criteria evaluation, fuzzy sets, rough sets and geo-statistical methods. He has published papers and books in the field of spatial analysis, modelling, geocomputation and planning. He has been member of scientific committees of several international conferences and he has been Chair/Co-chair of several international workshops.
