Elif Cesur

Elif Cesur received a B.Tech degree in both industrial and computer engineering from Kültür University in 2008 and a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dortmund Technical University, Dortmund, Germany, in 2015. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Medeniyet University in Istanbul, Turkey. She is also a post-doctoral researcher at Machine Intelligence Research Labs (MIR Labs). Additionally, she is involved in several significant industrial projects related to priority areas for Turkey: 1) Digitalization of locomotives: Anomaly detection & predictive maintenance via digital twin of the locomotive TÜLOMSAŞ (2020 - Supervisor). 2) Capacity and Layout Planning of Turkish Airlines Cargo Terminal (2018 - Developer). 3) Logistics on Demand: Usage-Dependent Simulation for Anticipative Change Planning of Intra-logistic Systems, DFG Germany (2015 - Developer).
