Emily C. Rainey

Emily Rainey is an Assistant Professor of language, literacy, and culture at the University of Pittsburgh, where she also serves as the coordinator of field coaching in teacher education. Rainey is a literacy education researcher who is informed by sociocultural theory and committed to improving adolescents’ literacy learning opportunities in school.
