Fatma Dogan Akkaya

Fatma Dogan AkkayaFatma Dogan Akkaya is Assistant Professor and lecturer at the Communication Faculty, Kastamonu University. After receiving her undergraduate education at Marmara University Faculty of Communication in Turkey, she completed her master's degree in Media and Communication at City University of London and her doctorate in Sociology at University of Essex in the UK. Drawing on the disciplines of sociology and communication, she explores the complex social and cultural implications of ever-evolving forms of human and technology interaction. She places significant reliance on the digital ethics perspective as a specialised approach for theoretical analysis, particularly when studying the intricacies of emerging technologies and new media tools.
