Gaurav Kumar Bansal

Gaurav Kumar Bansal , Scientist, Materials Engineering Division, CSIR – National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur, India, is a Scientist working on the research and development of advanced steel grades for the benefit of the environment and society. His research interests mainly include Thermodynamic and Kinetic simulation for alloy and process design, Heat treatment and Thermo-mechanical processing, Microstructure-property correlation, etc. He has 10+ years of experience, and completed over 20 nos. of Scientific and Industry-oriented R&D projects. Mr. Bansal has more than 10 Patents and 20+ peer-reviewed scientific publications to his credit. He is also the recipient of AWSAR Award 2019 for best science story, B.R. Nijhawan award 2020 and 2021 for the top SCI publications, S.P. Mehrotra award 2020 for best Colloquium speaker, etc.
