George Mokua Ogendi

George Mokua Ogendi is a Senior Lecturer and former Chairman, Department of Environment, Natural Resources Management and Aquatic Sciences in the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources Management, Kisii University, Kenya. He obtained a Doctorate in Environmental Sciences from Kisii University in 2017, MSc. Environmental Science from Arkansas State University (2009), BSc. Agricultural Education and Extension (2006) and Diploma in Agricultural Education and Extension from Egerton (2003). Dr. Ogendi is an ISO certified auditor of Quality Management Systems and a Lead expert in Environmental Impact Assessment in Kenya. He has authored several articles in peer reviewed journals and related online platforms. He is a seasoned writer on environmental reports. Dr. Ogendi has done consultancies in community development. His research interests include Environmental Impact assessment, Water quality, Biomonitoring, Global climate change, Wetland ecology, Agroforestry, Climate smart agriculture as well as education for sustainable development.
