Ghassan H. Abdul-Majeed

Ghassan H. Abdul-Majeed is a full professor at the University of Baghdad, works as a consultant for improving the research dimension of the University in Scopus and ranking systems. He received his PhD in Petroleum Engineering at University of Baghdad in 1997 with excellent degree. The topic of his dissertation was A Comprehensive Mechanistic Model for Vertical and Inclined Two-Phase Flow. From 2004 to 2013, he became the head of the computer center of Baghdad University. During this period, the computer center became the best training center in Iraq, also during his management; he got several international certificates from Cisco, MS and other computer companies. He also performed a research school in computer networks. He published 32 technical papers in reputable journals in the fields of petroleum engineering and information technology. His research interest: Two-Phase Flow, Modeling and Simulation in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Networks. He is a member in international journal and conference comities. He was supervisor and examiner for many Master’s and Ph.D. students. He has many publications in international and ISI journals and conferences.
