Hamid Farrokh Ghatte

Hamid Farrokh Ghatte holds a Ph.D. degree in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU). Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Civil Engineering Department of Antalya Bilim University (ABU), Turkey. Dr. F GHATTE has also worked as a research assistant at the Civil Engineering Department of Ljubljana University, Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has published several refereed publications and collaborated as a subject reviewer for different international scholarly journals. His current research focuses on the seismic performance and retrofitting of reinforced concrete structures, finite element analysis, rocking walls, and self-compacting concrete members to solve various issues during natural disasters like earthquakes. As a new area of investigation, he is working on machine learning in civil engineering, optimization, and artificial intelligence in civil and structural engineering.
