Hans Chapman

Hans Chapman is the Program Director for the Associate in Engineering (AE) College Transfer program at Cape Fear Community College. Previously, he was an Associate Professor of Mechanical and Manufacturing at the School of Engineering and Information Systems (SEIS) at Morehead State University (MSU) in Morehead KY. Dr. Chapman obtained his PhD degree from the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the University of Surrey, England. Dr. Chapman’s research activities are in the area of Renewable Energy Systems Quality Engineering. He is also a reviewer for the International Journal of Modern, Mechanical and Manufacturing Systems, and Engineering (IJME). Dr. Chapman has been an Engineering faculty in the Kentucky Governor’s Scholar Program (GSP). In his spare time, Dr. Chapman enjoys star-gazing, fishing, traveling with his family and sports.
