Hilal Atlar-Yildirim

Hilal Atlar-Yildirim graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Special Education, Teaching of the Hearing Impaired in 2008. She taught children with hearing loss until 2014. She received her MS in Education of the Hearing Impaired from Anadolu University in 2017. She completed her master's thesis with a study examining the emergent literacy experiences of a child with hearing loss in Turkey. She conducted a pilot implementation of a program that supports the early literacy experiences of children with hearing loss by empowering their families in Turkey under the consultancy of Yıldız Uzuner.
