Igor Cretescu

Igor Cretescu , f-Director of Environmental Engineering and Management Department (TUIASI) and Vice-president of the Romanian Society of Inventors, has a PhD in Chemical Engineering (2000, TUIASI, Romania) and a Postdoc in Electrochemical and Bio-Sensors (2002). He is involved in more than 60 research projects, developed in the frame of national and international research grants, and contracts with industrial companies. His scientific expertise and research directions include analysis, control and monitoring of environmental components, process engineering and diagnosis, treatment of water and gaseous fluxes, eco-technologies, innovative system design, modelling and optimization of technological processes, applied electrochemistry, etc. He holds awards in innovation, with more than 70 awarded patents (diploma and medals) at national and international Inventions Fairs, and also provides consultancy, information, knowledge and technology transfer. • Scientific portfolio: (Scopus Author ID: 6602569674; Web of Science Researcher ID: GVU-4057-2022; ORCID ID: ): 220 titles (scientific articles, patents, books), including 180 papers in ISI Journals Master List (Clarivate), 25 patents, 15 books/chapters.
