Ingrid Bachmann

Ingrid Bachmann, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the School of Communications at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. A former reporter, her research interests include gender, political communication and content creation, with emphasis in cross-national comparisons. She primarily focuses on the role of the news media in the definition of identities and meanings within the public sphere.
