Innocent Isa Ekoja

Innocent I. Ekoja is a Professor of Library and Information Science with specialization in Information Management and Academic Librarianship. He has taught Librarianship and practiced in six Nigerian universities, and is currently University Librarian, Benue State University, Makurdi. He was previously University Librarian, University of Abuja, Nigeria between 2005 and 2015, where he was also Head of Department, Library and Information Science between 2017 and 2019. He is an external examiner to no fewer than twelve Nigerian universities and Makerere University in Uganda. He has supervised close to 100 Master’s dissertations and Ph.D. theses. He has also assessed over 50 candidates for Professorship and Librarianship positions in Nigeria and foreign universities. He is currently the President of National Library Association (NLA) and a Fellow of the Association.
