Isil Demirtas

Dr. Işıl Demirtaş was born in 1980. She earned her bachelor's degree in Economics from Kocaeli University and her master's degree in Economic Development and International Economics at the same university in 2010. While pursuing graduate studies, she began to work Giresun University as a teaching assistant. In 2015 she earned her PHD in Economic Policy from Marmara University. At the same year she began to work as an assistant professor at Giresun University in the department of economics. In 2016 she earned a scholarship from TUBİTAK and worked as a visitingscholar at The University of Michigan between October 2016 - September 2017. She is still working as an assistant professor at Giresun University. Her research interests include energy economics, economy policy, green economy, sustainable development.
