João Alberto Negrão

João Negrão graduated in Animal Science at the State University of Maringá (UEM, 1991), Master (1993) and Ph.D. (1996) in Biology and Agronomy at Ecole Nationale Superièure Agronomique de Rennes (ENSAR), in the area of Animal Physiology. He is currently Full Professor in Lactation Physiology at the Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering (FZEA) of the University of São Paulo (USP), is responsible for the Animal Physiology Laboratory at FZEA, teaches animal physiology for the zootechnics and veterinary medicine, he is also advisor of scientific initiation, master's and doctoral students in Animal Science at the Faculty of Food Engineering (FZEA) and at the Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences (FCAV) of the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP). He has experience in Animal Science, with an emphasis on Lactation Physiology, Stress Physiology, working mainly on the following topics: endocrinology, milk synthesis, milk ejection, behavior, production and quality of milk.
