Jorge Gracia Ibáñez

Jorge Garcia is professor at the School of Criminology of the University of Porto, Portugal, and professor at the San Jorge University (USJ), Spain. He is member of the Centro de Investigação Interdisciplinar em Justiça (CIIJ) (Portugal) and collaborates with the Laboratorio de Sociología Jurídica (Spain) .His publications include El maltrato familiar hacia las personas mayores. Un análisis sociojurídico (2012), or “Towards an Inclusive Victimology and a New Understanding of Public Compassion to Victims: From and Beyond Christie’s Ideal Victim” (in M. Duggan ed., Revisiting the ’Ideal Victim’: Developments in Critical Victimology, 2018).
