Jorge Morato

Jorge Morato is a professor of Information Science in the Computer Sc. Dept. at Carlos III University of Madrid, in 1999 he obtained a PhD in Library Science from the same university. He is head of the research group GigaBD. He is principal investigator of the National R&D program with a project about readability on the Web, and PI of several projects in biomedicine (e.g. CIE-10). Besides, he has collaborated in several international and European projects. He is the author of more than one hundred publications, thirty of them indexed in ISI and Scopus. His field of research is knowledge organization, linguistics, and information publication and retrieval on the Web.
