Kamila Kinyon

Kamila Kinyon is a Teaching Associate Professor in the University of Denver Writing Program. She has a doctorate in Comparative Literature from the University of Chicago (2000) and an MA in TESOL/Linguistics from the University of Utah (1987). Her teaching at DU has focused on the rhetoric of journalism, oral history, and ethnography, which has also been a subject of her recent service and research—including a 2021 article in Annals of Anthropological Practice and a chapter for the Proceedings for the International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference 2020/2021. Other teaching and research interests include multilingual writing, WAC, and visual rhetoric.
