Kim Pinkerton

Kim Pinkerton is an Adjunct Professor of Literacy Education at the University of Houston– Downtown. With nearly 30 years of experience as an elementary educator, community college instructor, and Associate Professor at both the University of Houston–Downtown and Texas A&M University–Commerce, she has developed interests in researching early literacy practices and past/present literacy lives of teachers. Kim is the co-author of and has fervently served the Texas Council of Teachers of English Language arts as a board member and editor of .
