Klaus Christian Zehbe

Klaus-Christian Zehbe studied in the UK, Estonia and Germany. He holds a doctorate from TU Dortmund University, Germany, on educational processes in the traditional Japanese theatre form of Kyōgen and the development of actors' attitudes. He is currently research fellow at Leipzig University in the research project "Historical learning processes of primary school children in museum collections" funded by the German Research Foundation. His research interests cover educational theory, transformative education processes, educational processes with material objects, ethnography, qualitative research methods, critical heritage studies, Global Citizenship Education as well as Education for Sustainable Development. He is member of the German Educational Research Association (GERA), the Association of Critical Heritage Studies (ACHS) and of the International Association of World Heritage Professionals e. V. Cottbus / Bamberg (IAWHP e. V.), where he currently is also elected board member.
