Lindy Crawford

Lindy Crawford , Ph.D., is the Executive Director of Lee Pesky Learning Center where she is honored to lead a caring and committed team of professionals that helps young people turn obstacles into opportunities. A native of the northwest with deep roots in Idaho, Lindy earned a Ph.D. in Special Education at the University of Oregon and most recently was the endowed chair of special education at TCU in Fort Worth, TX. Lindy began her career as a preschool teacher and director of an early childhood center in Washington state. Dr. Crawford has served the field of education for over 30 years as a teacher, leader, researcher, author, and advocate for children who learn differently. Some of her publications can be found in The Journal of Special Education, the Journal of Learning Disabilities, Remedial and Special Education, and the Bilingual Research Journal.
