Lukas Szrot

Lukas Szrot is an assistant professor of Sociology at Bemidji State University. He teaches courses in theory, methods, statistics, gender, social movements, social inequality, and social issues. Lukas' research interests focus on the social context of belief and valuation, including religious change, secularism, history of science, scientific literacy, education, and social psychology of belief/knowledge. He has published numerous articles and book chapters. His first book, Faiths in Green, which details how religious/cultural factors shape perceptions of, and reactions to, environmental issues, was published in 2021 and is now available in paperback.
