Maikel Leyva-Vazquez

Dr. Maikel Y. Leyva Vázquez, PhD, has a notable career spanning several universities in Cuba and Ecuador. He has held positions such as the General Director of the Babahoyo Campus at Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes (UNIANDES) and Vice Dean of Research at Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría," Cujae, an MSc in Bioinformatics from El Instituto Superior de Tecnologías y Ciencias Aplicadas (InSTeC), and a PhD in Technical Sciences from Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas. Additionally, as a member of the Grupo de Investigación en Inteligencia Artificial y Reconocimiento Facial at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Dr. Leyva Vázquez contributed to artificial intelligence. He is deeply involved in the scientific community, presenting at international forums, publishing research, and mentoring PhD students.He/She serves as the president of the Latin American Association of Neutrosophic Sciences and as editor of several academic journals, significantly contributing to intellectual exchange in the academic realm.
