María Lucía Barrón-Estrada

Lucia Barron received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science in 2004 at the Florida Institute of Technology, FL, USA, Master of Computer Science in 1990 at the Toluca Institute of Technology and Bachelor of Computer Science at the Culiacan Institute of Technology in 1987. She is a member level III of the National System of Researchers in México. She is working at the Tecnológico Nacional de México - Instituto Tecnológico de Culiacán since 1985 and his work focuses on the line of research “Intelligent Computational Technologies Applied to Education” whose objective is the integration of artificial intelligence into computer systems focused mainly on the educational field, where educational models are studied to design, model, develop and implement computer technologies for learning, such as: Affective Systems, Intelligent Tutoring Systems, and Intelligent Learning Environments, among others, that dynamically adapt to the student using the system, providing adequate information to their cognitive and affective needs, using different learning modalities such as: e-learning, mobile learning, hybrid learning and collaborative learning.
