Melissa Martin

Melissa S. Martin, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Teacher Education department at the State University of New York (SUNY) – Plattsburgh. Currently, she teaches courses related to Childhood Education and Special Education to preservice general and special educators. Previously, she was a self-contained special education teacher at an elementary school in South Carolina for several years. Her research interests include writing instruction and motivation for students with disabilities and collaboration and co-teaching in higher education.
