Michelle Christine Sterk Barrett

Michelle Sterk Barrett has been engaged professionally with higher education for nearly 30 years. The majority of this time has been spent directing the Donelan Office of Community-Based Learning at the College of the Holy Cross and serving as Assistant Director of the PULSE Program for Service-Learning at Boston College. She currently directs the J.D. Power Center for Liberal Arts in the World at Holy Cross. Dr. Sterk Barrett completed her Ph.D. in higher education at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. She co-authored, “The State of Developmental Education” and has published in the International Journal for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IJRSLCE) as well as the Journal of Catholic Education.
