Mohamed Timoulali

Mohamed Timoulali holds a Land Surveyor Engineer Degree from Institut Agronomique et Veterinaire Hassan II (IAVH II), Rabat (1974), and a joint Dr-Eng in Computer Sciences from Lyon I Claude Bernard University and INSA Lyon, France (1981). He is Director of the GTOPIC sarl based in Rabat, Morocco since July 2013, Consulting Engineering on Land Governance, Geomatics and ICT. He Served previously in the following positions: Regional Advisor on ICT Policy at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), Addis Ababa Ethiopia (2003-2013), collaborating with the African Union Commission (AUC) and Regional Economic Communities (REC) on the harmonization of the Regional Digital Strategies and the Cyber Legislations; Secretary General on the National Council of the National Order of Lang Surveyors Engineers (Ordre National des Ingénieurs Géomètres Topographes, ONIGT) (2000-2003); Director, ITIGEO sarl, Rabat Morocco (1991-2003), Licensed Land survey Engineer, Consulting Engineering on ICT and Geomatics; Director, Division Information and Documentation, African Regional Centre for Technology (ARCT), Dakar Senegal (1983-1991); Researcher, National Inventory of Scientific and Technological Potential Project, Centre National de Coordination et Planification de la Recherche Scientifique et Technique, (Current CNRST), Rabat Morocco (1981-1983); Analyst Enginner, Land Registry Computerization Project, Administration of Land Registry and Topography (Direction de la Conservation Foncière et des Travaux Topographiques: DCFTT) (Current ANCFCC), Rabat Morocco (1974-1977).
