Monicca Thulisile Bhuda

Monicca Thulisile Bhuda is a culture activist, a Children’s book author, an indigenous scholar and a lecturer at the University of Mpumalanga. She holds a Bachelor’s degree (hons) in Indigenous knowledge Systems, a Master’s degree in Indigenous Knowledge Systems, and a PhD in social sciences with indigenous knowledge systems,. All of her qualifications have been obtained from the North-West University. Dr Bhuda specialises in African indigenous knowledge systems. She has been featured on numerous media platforms such as TV, Radio, Magazines and Newspapers that were based on her interests as an indigenous scholar and on Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Her interests include decolonization of education, promotion of indigenous languages, indigenous knowledge preservation, protection, management and dissemination.
