Mubango Hazel

Mubango Hazel is a PhD in Human Resources Management candidate at the University of Venda. She has years of experience in both the industry in the Human Resources Management discipline and as a professional academic and researcher in the field of Human Resource Management. She is currently working as a lecturer and as the Chairperson of the Department of Commerce and Management at the Women’s University in Africa. Hazel also serves in numerous university committees including the Teaching and Learning Committee, Affiliates Committee, Job Evaluation Committee and the University Senate. She is also an HR consultant and writes on broader HR areas. She is an examiner, moderator and module writer for the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ). She has taught and published in journals on human resources management issues in areas that include work-life balance, women in employment/ business, gender diversity, equality and inclusion in the workplace, learning in Higher Education and organisational support.
