Mufaro Dzingirai

Mufaro Dzingirai (Ph.D) is a full-time lecturer in the Department of Business Management at Midlands State University. He is also currently a Senior Fellow at the Nexus Think Tank (Zarawi Trust). Notably, he is a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (Internship) at Midlands AIDS Services Organization. Interestingly, he received the Best Paper Presentation Award from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) in 2022. He attended the UNCTAD YSI Summer School 2022 on Globalization and Development Strategies, jointly organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Institute of New Economic Thinking’s Young Scholars Initiative (YSI) held from August 1-5, 2022. He earned his Master of Commerce in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance degree from Midlands State University in 2016. He was hired as a teacher by the Ministry of Education from 2014 to 2016. In 2013, he received the MSU Book Prize as the best-graduating student. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management Honours Degree in 2013. Given his deep interest in community development, he manage to complete his Bachelor of Social Science in Monitoring and Evaluation in 2021. His research interests include Higher Education, Strategy, Management, Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Development. He publishes in high-impact journals accredited by Scopus and also reviewed many scientific papers in databases like Emerald Insight. More interestingly, he has been hired as a research consultant by both private and public organizations. Lastly, he supervises postgraduate students and has linkages with various universities (national and international) as an external examiner or moderator.
