Muhammad Arshad

Dr. Muhammad Arshad is an Associate Professor at the International Islamic University, Islamabad. Dr. Arshad completed his M. Phil. from the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology at the University of Punjab. Dr. Arshad pursued a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Tsinghua University, one of China's most prestigious institutions as well as one of the top 20 universities of the world. He also undertook post-doctoral studies at the renowned Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. In recognition of his scholarly achievements, Dr. Arshad has received the Young Scientist Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the Government of China and the Best Teacher Award from Pakistan International School, Taif. He is also affiliated with the Safe Blood Transfusion Program and with his strong commitment, contributes to various scientific societies. Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Arshad has been actively engaged in research activities. He has authored 75+ research articles and review papers as well as three scientific handbooks, which have contributed to the advancement of knowledge in his field. His research focuses on molecular biotechnology, infectious diseases, and exploring viral genomics.
