Nelly Kostoulas-Makrakis

Nelly Kostoulas-Makrakis is a Professor of Education for Sustainable Development and Teaching Methodology in the Primary Teacher Education Department at the University of Crete, Greece and the focal point for the Earth Charter. She got her Ph.D from the University of Stockholm, Sweden. Her main teaching and research interests focus on education for sustainable development pedagogy. She is the author of three books and several articles in international journals and has participated in many international projects dealing with education for sustainable development.
