Niha Kamal Basha

Niha K. is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Security, School of Computer Science and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Science and Technology, India. She was selected by UGC as a Research Fellow with Maulana Azad National Fellowship Award (20152020) to pursue her Doctoral Research. She completed her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. She completed her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Avinashilingam University, Coimbatore, India. She has published papers and book chapters on machine learning, deep learning, and Image and signal processing domain in IEEE, Springer, and Inderscience journals (all Scopus/SCI indexed). She has been selected for Research Excellence Award 2021 by InSc, India. She acted as a reviewer and session co-chair for the IEEE conference and Special Session organizer of the International Conference. She delivered talks on webinars and acted as an organizer for national webinars and workshops. She has published a patent with a grant in her area of research. She is an IEEE Member. Her area of research includes Data mining, Machine learning, Pattern detection, HCI, IoT/IoMT and Deep learning.
