Okon Edet Ani

Okon Edet Ani is Associate Professor of Information Science at the University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc degrees in Physics from the University of Calabar; M.Inf.Sc. (Information Science) from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria, and Ph.D (Information Science) from the University of South Africa, Pretoria, South Africa. He is a Chartered Librarian (CLN) and member of Nigeria Library Association (NLA). He was a Visiting Librarian at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port-Harcourt, Nigeria (2007-2008). He has published several articles in reputable national and international journals. His areas of research include: applications of ICTs in libraries, virtual/digital libraries, electronic information resources, bibliometrics, and scientific productivity.
